Alexander Alex, Director

Alexander Alex is owner of the pharmaceutical consultancy business Alexander Alex Consulting. He has over 18 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry as Director and Research Fellow at Pfizer in Sandwich, United Kingdom, and 24 years experience in the field of Computational Chemistry. He has successfully applied computational approaches to all stages in the drug discovery process from lead seeking to drug candidate nomination, including ADMET rationalisation and prediction. He has over 30 scientific publications and more than 20 invited oral presentations in the areas of computational chemistry, chemoinformatics, structure-based drug design, fragment-based drug design, molecular properties, ADMET as well as prediction of chemical reactivity and mass spectrometry fragmentation. He has a doctorate in Chemistry and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
