Nanoscale spotting: from proof-of-concept to manufacturing scale production Workshop

26 Sep 2012 in San Diego, USA, 12:45 - 13:30

http://www.scienion.de/

The need to successfully deposit very small volumes of biological content on devices exists across a wide range of applications, in research and diagnostics, such as microarray spotting on glass surfaces, and depositing samples on pre-defined biochip targets.  In addition, recent applications are surfacing in cell arrays, nanoscale PCR, and as part of a variety of new microfluidic devices.  In all cases, careful early technology selection can enable a smooth path to future large scale fabrication.

We will present how our non-contact dispensing technology is implemented in a full range of instruments.  The same dispensing capillaries are used on a variety of frameworks, enabling early experimentation and proof-of-concept activities, all the way to large scale in-line continuous production runs.  We will also present how our services would enable efficient outsourcing of any portion of your project.  In addition, we will demo the newest member of our sciFLEXARRAYER family, the entry-level S1.

ROOM: PACIFIC SALON 7
