Age Related Diseases (ARD) are of significant concern requiring novel diagnostic tools for early diagnosis and continuous monitoring. Paper-based analytical device is developed to detect ARD biomarkers using conjugated polymers as luminescent reporters for point of care healthcare.

Gopal Ammanath

Gopal Ammanath is a researcher in the Interdisciplinary Graduate School at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) under the supervision of Prof. Bo Liedberg. His research focus is to develop paper based sensors for biomedical applications using conjugated polymers. He has obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Amrita University, India and Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from NTU. His research interests include biosensors, point of care diagnostics and microfluidics.
