Ryan Schweller,
Senior Scientist, Upstream Process Development
Ryan Schweller is a Senior Scientist in the Upstream Process Development team at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB), based in College Station, TX. In this role, Ryan is responsible for providing technical support and expertise for development and scale-up of novel and current processes for viral vector production, including adeno-associated viral (AAV), adenoviral, and lentiviral based vectors. Ryan also works closely with clients to help transfer their processes into cGMP production. Prior to joining FDB, Ryan focused on novel biomaterial development and biosensing as a Postdoc at Duke University. He received a PhD in Bioengineering from Rice University and a BS from The University of Toledo.
