Liang Wang,
Senior Member of Tumor Biology
Dr. Wang is a senior member at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and a professor of oncology at the University of South Florida. He has more than 150 peer-reviewed publications. His research interest has been to apply genetics and genomics approach to identifying new biomarkers for cancer risk assessment, detection, and progression. Specifically, he is interested in studying genetic susceptibility of human cancers and biological mechanisms under the susceptibility. He is also interested in applying liquid biopsy technology for cancer early detection and outcome prediction. Dr. Wang’s studies are funded by multiple grants from National Institute of Healthy and other government agencies.
