Raphael Tomasi,
Cofounder & CTO
Raphaël TOMASI has been developing a unique droplet microfluidic technology to perform multiplexed 3D cell culturing on chip since 2013. He co-invented this technology during his Ph.D. in microfluidics, between 2013 and 2016, in Charles BAROUD’s laboratory at Ecole Polytechnique (Paris, France). Then, he continued developing the technology in the lab, as well as the associated business opportunity, at Institut Pasteur (Paris, France). In mid-2020, he cofounded Okomera to commercialize this technology for precision cancer medicine. Based in Paris, Okomera is launching its first product to automate drug testing on cancer cells from patient biopsies for precision cancer medicine. Raphaël TOMASI leads the technological development of Okomera as CTO.
