Ms. Gayathri R is a PhD scholar at IIT Madras, currently focusing on developing innovative micro-nano devices for single-cell patterning for different biological and biomedical applications. Her academic journey began with a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, where she designed a "Safety Assured Wearable Smart Cloak for Women Safety". Her passion for healthcare innovations led her to pursue a M Tech in Biomedical Engineering, where she excelled and was awarded a gold medal as the top graduating student. During this time, she transitioned to the field of biomaterials, investigating different nanoparticles for antimicrobial activity and photothermal therapy.
