Sabhyata Bhatia,

Dr Sabhyata Bhatia is a senior faculty at NIPGR where she guide many research projects and Ph.D students in the area of Plant Genomics and Biotechnology. Previously, She was a research fellow at The Energy and Resources Institute (1989-2000). Since 2001, Dr Bhaita is working at NIPGR. Her research area is Plant Molecular Genetics and Genomics. She has research interests in Generating genomic resources for gene discovery and crop enhancement and Understanding the mechanisms involved in seed and nodule development. She received honour of Fellow from The National Academy of Sciences (NASI), India in 2014. She has published many papers and book chapters.
