Ahmed Ibrahim hails from Los Angeles, California and earned his BS in Biology and Chemistry at the University of California where also received his Masters in Public Health. Ahmed then went on to complete his PhD at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills California where his primary focus involved the role of extracellular vesicles namely exosomes in cardiosphere-derived cell therapy. He is currently a senior scientists with Capricor Therapeutics in Beverly Hills, CA.
