Katherine Jolley's Biography

Katherine Jolley, Research Fellow

Dr. Katherine Jolley received her MChem degree from the University of Bath in 2009. Following this she obtained her PhD in 2013 from the University of Warwick under the supervision of Prof. Martin Wills for her thesis entitled “Development of catalysts for asymmetric hydrogenation”. In July 2013 Katherine moved to the University of Leeds as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the Institute of Process Research and Development in the School of Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. John Blacker. Her research focused on the development of continuous flow reactors and methodology for solution phase peptide synthesis and formation and reaction of N-chloramines. In July 2016 Katherine moved to the University of Southampton to undertake a second postdoctoral position joining the group of Prof. Richard Brown. Katherine’s research, supported by Eli Lilly, looks at the development of organic electrochemical processes utilising extended channel length continuous flow electrochemical reactors developed within the group.
