Ming-Sing Si's Biography



Ming-Sing Si, Assistant Professor of Cardiac Surgery, Department of Cardiac Surgery

Dr. Si is a pediatric cardiac surgeon at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. His clinical expertise is in the surgical treatment of complex congenital and acquired diseases of the heart and great vessels in neonates, children and adults. He is the surgical Director of Pediatric Heart Transplantation and Pediatric Mechanical Circulatory Support at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. The clinical obstacles that Dr. Si encounters motivate his basic and translation research endeavors in cardiovascular regenerative medicine for pediatric and adult heart failure. Dr. Si received his MD from UCLA, postdoctoral research training at Stanford University, and his clinical training from UCI, UCSF and the University of Michigan.
