Nathan Bryan, Professor

Dr. Nathan S. Bryan is an Adjunct Professor within the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Bryan earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and his doctoral degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport where he was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research. He pursued his post-doctoral training as a Kirschstein Fellow at Boston University School of Medicine in the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute. Dr. Bryan has been involved in nitric oxide research for the past 15 years and has made many seminal discoveries in the field. These discoveries and findings have transformed diagnosis and treatment of many chronic diseases associated with NO insufficiency. Dr. Bryan is also an entrepreneur and has successfully commercialized several of his discoveries. He has five issued US patents and 6 pending worldwide. Dr. Bryan is the founder and Chief Science Officer of Neogenis Labs, a Texas based company started to commercialize nitric oxide based technologies and diagnostics.
