Matthew Applegate,
Research Fellow, Ultrafast Nonlinear Optics and Biophotonics Laboratory
Matthew Applegate is currently research fellow at Tufts University under the mentorship of Fiorenzo Omenetto. His work investigates ways that light interacts with biomaterials to image, treat, diagnose, and prevent disease. His previous work at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine focused on using Optical Coherence Tomography to map lung cancer.
