Maria Carla Parrini,
Senior Research Engineer
Maria Carla Parrini is a cell biologist expert in cell signal transduction, cell motility/invasion and advanced imaging of living cells. After a PhD degree in Biochemistry at University Paris-Orsay, she was post-doc researcher at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) (1997-2002) and at Osaka University (Japan) (2002-2003). She works since 2003 at Institut Curie (Paris, France). Her current research focus is the development and application of novel technologies at the frontier between Biology and Physics, in order to place the oncogenic transduction signaling networks inside the spatial-temporal dimension of the cells, in the context of the tumor ecosystems.
