Mr K.Umamaheshwar has over 15 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry. Currently holding responsibilities as Head-Clinical Department & Operations at AET Laboratories Pvt. Limited, Hyderabad, India (a 100% subsidiary of Alfred.E.Tiefenbacher, GmbH & Co, KG Germany, a B-to-B company) and Chief Executive, AET Clinical Services Private Limited, Hyderabad (his self-initiative and a dedicated clinical service division of AET-India), he is responsible for end-to-end organization of BE studies for the company as well as for clients. With a proven track of delivering GCP/GLP compliant BE studies from India for the regulated markets, he is well known in the field for establishing systems, strict compliance and CRO engagement strategies.
From the diversified experience in his earlier associations with Aurobindo, Shanta Biotech (now part of Sanofi), Himalaya and current roles, he has an in-depth insight into the field of Pre-clinical Research & Toxicology, New Drug Discovery, Technology Transfer , BA/BE and Clinical research (from all perspectives of Sponsor/CRO/Regulatory) while at the same time excelling in diversified demanding roles in the areas of pre-clinical/clinical research & development, project management, quality assurance/compliance, conducting and handling audits (to include all types such as internal, external, in-process, retrospective, for-cause, 3rd Party and global regulatory inspections) , technical, enterprenual, leadership, consulting and business development.
