Kuan Hsun Lin,
Chief Resident, Division of Thoracic Surgery
Kuan Hsun Lin received a Bachelor of Medical Science from the National Defense Medical Center School of Medicine (2010). He started thoracic surgery residency program at Tri-Service General Hospital since 2012. He is currently a researcher at National Defense Medical Center and a founder of National Defense Medical Center Medical Fablab. Also, he is the member of Taiwan Food and Drug Administration 3D Printing medical device clinical trial. He got his 3D-Printing simulation training at Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospital Boston Children’s Hospital. His research is focused on the clinical medical application of 3D printing, especially in simulation and pre-surgical design. He has designed two clinical trials of 3D Printed-assisted surgery and treated 50 patients.
