Dr. Magan Singh, Ph.D. (Agronomy) is Associate Fellow of National Academy of Dairy Sciences (India), (NADSI). Currently, he is Senior Scientist & Head Agronomy, National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal. Dr Singh has 18 years in Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral Programme (In Nagaland University and NDRI-Deemed University) and has guided 5 PhD Students and 16 M.Sc. Students. He has 20 Years of research experience. Dr Singh is involved in 18 In house projects, 10 AICRPs, Externally Funded Project (From ISRO, Ahmedabad) and Consultancy project from Du-Pont Pioneer, Hyderabad. He is a member of many academic bodies namely Academic Council (Nagaland University-A Central University and NDRI-Deemed University), Chairman of Divisional Board of Studies of Agronomy, NDRI, Deemed University, Member of School Board-Nagaland University, Member of Board of Post graduate studies in Nagaland University. He has many Recognition and Awards i.e. Ex-Head Department of Agronomy, Nagaland University, Question Paper setter of State Public Service Commission for different positions, member of framing policy paper 80 on Augmenting Forage Resources in Rural India: Policy Issues and Strategies at NAAS, New Delhi, Associate Fellowship Award of National Academy of Dairy Sciences, India (NADSI)-2016, Excellence Award in Teaching and Research-2018 by Biologix Research and innovation Centre, Reviewer Excellence Award-2016 by Agricultural Research Communication Centre, Karnal. Vijaya Shree Award-2005, Best Paper award, Appreciation/ Consolation-8, Best presentation award-3, and more.
