Silvia Bonilla García,

Silvia received her master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Maastricht University (The Netherlands) and specialized in Tissue Engineering. Her dissertation at the MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine focused on deriving kidney progenitor cells from human embryonic stem cells for bioprinting complex renal 3D tissue models. Currently, she works at Mimetas in the development of better predictive 3D cancer tissue models applicable for high-throughput screening of drug candidates and personalized therapy applications.
