Joshua Zimmermann,
Senior Scientist
Joshua Zimmermann, Ph.D., Senior Scientist at Stem Pharm Incorporated, has extensive experience in stem cell biology, biomaterials, neuroscience, and immunology. He received a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University and postdoctoral training in Bioengineering at the University of California – Berkeley. Dr. Zimmermann has expertise in engineering biomaterials for stem cell applications and the development of three-dimensional, human stem cell-derived developmental and neural tissue models. He is currently working on Stem Pharm’s efforts to commercialize advanced biomaterials for cellular applications including advanced cellular assays and 3D organoid models.
