President and CEO
Cha-Mei Tang, Sc.D., is the founder, president and CEO of Creatv MicroTech, pioneering in the development of cancer screening, early detection of cancer recurrence, precision monitoring of oncology therapeutics, and microfabrication based detection technology. Prior to Creatv MicroTech, Dr. Tang worked for Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Laboratory, Naval Research Laboratory, and National Institute of Standards and Technology. Dr. Tang has 21 issued patents and over 180 publications. Creatv MicroTech received the R&D100 award in 2006. Dr. Tang was named a Fellow of the American Physical Society in 1990, received the WISE Award for Science in 1992 as being the most outstanding woman scientist in the Federal Government awarded by Women in Science and Engineering, Inc., and became a Senior Member of IEEE in 1995. She received her B.S., M.S., E.E. and Sc.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT.
