Lingzhi Wang,
Senior Research Scientist, Ctr. for Translational Medicine, Adjunct Professor
Lingzhi Wang is a Senior Research Scientist of Cancer Science Institute of Singapore. He is also an adjunct Assistant Professor of Department of Pharmacology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He received his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from National University of Singapore. His research interest focuses on Cancer Therapeutics, Pharmacogenetics, Pharmacokinetics and Cancer Biomarker Discovery. Dr. Wang, one of pioneers in tumour-derived exosomes research in Singapore, was invited as a speaker to share his work on exosome cancer biomarker discovery in the Inaugural Socrates Scientific Meeting 2013. He possesses extensive experience in small molecules and protein quantification by mass spectrometry. Dr. Wang is the Principal Investigator of Validation of Candidate Biomarkers in Plasma for Diagnosis and Prognosis of Lung Cancer funded by National Medical Research Council, Singapore.
