OverviewOn behalf of the Organizing Committee we have the privilege of cordially inviting you to participate in the 5th Annual Conference of the Molecular Pathology Association of India (MPAI) and International Symposium “Integration of Genetics and Genomics in Laboratory Medicine” to be held on March 12-13, 2016 at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, India.
This conference will focus on the molecular diagnosis and prognosis of solid tumors, hematological oncology, infectious diseases and genetic diseases using traditional and recent DNA and RNA based techniques like Next Generation Sequencing, Digital PCR, Imaging, Microfluidics, Mass arrays, Microarrays, Fragment Analysis, Sanger Sequencing, Multiplex Ligation Probe Assay, etc. This event aims to enhance scientific knowledge in the field of Molecular Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Running alongside the Conference will be an Exhibition covering the latest technological advances within these fields. We look forward to welcoming you at the Conference and Exhibition and hope that the two days will be both informative and enjoyable.
Molecular Pathology Association of India (MPAI) came into existence in early 2011 with the objective of cultivation and promotion of the study and practice of molecular pathology in India. This association works as a platform for exchanging ideas, debating application of molecular assays amongst individuals from the field of biomedical sciences with special interest in practice and application of molecular pathology. The MPAI also endeavors to create a strong bridge between the basic scientists working in various research institutes and the clinicians working in hospitals for achieving the best possible management of patients.
Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) is a medical and research institution of national eminence with an excellent infrastructure in the government sector for educational, medical research and training facilities. The department of Hematology has a strong focus on molecular medicine and plans to be a perfect host to make the conference a grand success and a memorable academic feast.
