Rachelle Bienstock, Guest Scientist, NIEHS; Principal Consultant, RJB Computational Modeling LLCDr. Rachelle Bienstock received her BChE (Chemical Engineering) from The Cooper Union School of Engineering in New York City and her PhD in (physical) chemistry from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was a Welch Research Fellow at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center performing NMR and molecular dynamics studies on designed constrained GnRH peptide antagonists. Subsequently she came to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS, NIH) where she worked on a variety of interesting molecular modeling, and computational chemistry problems and the EPA where she worked in the National Center for Computational Toxicology. She is currently a consultant in the application of molecular modeling and computational chemistry methodologies and guest scientist at NIEHS. | | |
