Tobias Bauert's Biography

Tobias Bauert, Business Development Manager, IMT Microtechnologies

Dr. Tobias Bauert has joined IMT in 2014 and is today responsible for business development in the life sciences and diagnostics industry. Before that he was head of the R&D group responsible for process and product development within the life sciences and diagnostics activities of IMT. He studied Material Science M.Sc. at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, and Nanjing University, China. He received his Ph.D. at the University of Zurich for his work at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology in the field of self-assembly phenomena in thin films. Dr. Tobias Bauert is a hands-on expert in Micro- and Nanotechnology, Lithography, Laser Processing, Mechanical Engineering, and Microfluidics.
