Overview

SELECTBIO are extremely pleased to announce that Biodetection & Biosensors, now in its 9th year, will run in October 2017 in Cambridge, UK.

Rapid growth in the development of biosensors has revolutionised the efficacy and sensitivity of analytical devices across Health, Food and Defences industries. Yet many challenges remain for such devices and competing forms of assay are still relevant, with some still out performing and providing better value than biosensor based technologies.

Topic and challenges to be discussed include, but are not limited to, Nano Materials and Systems, Lab-on-a-Chip and Microfluidics, Biomarkers and Immunotechnologies, Next Generation Sequencing for Pathogen Detection, Rapid Biodetection and Threat Identification, Single Cell and Single Molecule Analysis.

There will be excellent opportunities for networking with researchers from academia and industry, providing a platform for sharing insights and addressing challenges that often lead to mutually beneficial collaborations. We welcome you to join leaders in Biodetection & Biosensor technologies from across the globe, an excellent event for scientific exchange and networking opportunities.

Agenda Topics

  • Biomarkers and Immunotechnologies
  • Lab-on-a-Chip and Microfluidics
  • Nano Materials and Systems
  • Next Generation Sequencing for Pathogen Detection
  • Rapid Biodetection and Threat Identification
  • Single Cell and Single Molecule Analysis
