Compound Management plays a key role in the drug discovery process by providing assay ready and near assay ready plates directly to screeners on a daily basis. These workflows are highly dependent on having the right data available at the right time in order to fulfill requests rapidly and properly such that high screening efficiencies are maintained. Corporate systems are excellent at containing the data and enabling workflows but often fall short on the details or restrict the flexibility needed in order to support a wide array of screening demands on the compounds. Timely delivery of high quality products from compound management, demand ad-hoc automation and data support tools to ensure seamless order fulfillment transactions. This talk will discuss the non-corporate tools and workflows integrated into daily processes and the functions they support to better enable compound management functions to meet the demands of timely delivery of high quality products for project screening efforts.
