Ultrafast and Sensitive qPCR-based Detection of Group B Streptococcus (GBS) in Patient Samples in a Matter of Minutes

We present a mass-producible silicon chip-based system for qPCR detection of group B streptococci in five minutes. The analytical performance of the ultrafast qPCR system matches that of the benchtop assay based on a comparison using over 100 patient samples.
