Oksana Sirenko,
Sr. Imaging Applications Scientist
Dr. Sirenko is an established Cell Biologist and Imaging Specialist who is an international expert in development of assays with complex cell-based models for research and drug discovery. She is a Senior Scientist at Molecular Devices where she has worked extensively with High Content Imaging and its application to analysis of novel cell systems. Dr. Sirenko currently leads a group of scientists and engineers developing methods and new tools for automation of 3D cell models – including organoids and organ-on chips – for modeling cancer, neurotoxicity, cardiac diseases and toxicology. She is also actively involved in establishing collaborations in the areas of cell culture, microfluidics, and image analysis. She has over 15 years of industry experience, holds a PhD in Biochemistry/Biophysics, and has authored more than 36 scientific papers in the fields of cell biology, toxicology, and biotechnology.
