Extracellular Vesicles in Cytokine Regulation
Leonid Margolis, Head, Section of Intercellular Interactions, Eunice Kennedy-Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, NIH

We found that both myocardial infarction and in HIV-1 infection extracellular vesicles are associated with immune activation, an important driver of the disease.
