Continuous-Flow Self-Supported Electrochemically Mediated Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization Intensified by Sonication

Electrochemically mediated ATRP (eATRP) has attracted much interest due to its convenience in influencing polymerization behavior externally. This tall will focus on the recent realization of continuous flow eATRP by our group using a novel sonicated microreactor setup. The setup is also further developed into a microreactor cascade by connecting two identical reactors in series. Preliminary results showed the reaction rate was higher and good molecular weight evolution was obtained in most cases.
