Opportunities& Challenges in Natural Product Synthesis for Drug Discovery

Cancer is one of the most dreadful disease after coronory disease. Several groups have been engaged in investigating the mechanism and also to . Our prevent this disease. Since decades many natural products have been isolated and analogues for the same have been synthesized for improvement in the biological activity against cancer for eradication of this disease contributions towards anti cancer are by a way of synthesizing scarcely available natural products exhibiting anti-tumor activity. In the present lecture synthesis of few natural products that show promising anti-cancer activity will be described.
