Fragment Based Approaches in Drug Discovery

Fragment based drug discovery has become promising approach in identifying small molecule hits in drug discovery programs. In particular, the early stage discovery and lead identification is well supported by high-throughput screening of fragment libraries. Few examples showing fragment based approach to increase binding and potency of identified hits will be discussed.
