Dr. Corné Swart is currently the Head of Business Development at Cellbox Solutions GmbH. He studied Molecular Biology at Stellenbosch University (South Africa) and Lund University (Sweden), majoring in Biotechnology. In parallel to his studies at Stellenbosch University, he also completed a Management Development Program with the Louis Group Business Academy in partnership with Stellenbosch University Business School. He then joined the Proteomics group at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology (Germany) where his research focused on the complex interplay between post-translational modifications and metabolism. For this work he received a PhD in Molecular Plant Physiology from Potsdam University (Germany).
