Physiologically relevant 3D cancer models are critical for drug discoveries. These 3D cancer models predict the outcome of in vivo experiments that 2D models often fail. The use of 3D cell culture, aided by CELLINK’s bioprinting technologies, affords the use of multicellular constructs in the presence of tissue-specific extracellular matrix to better mimic the in vivo milieu. These cancer models are also used to study the interactions between cancer cells and their microenvironment to develop mechanism-informed therapies. |
