Nick Devoogdt's Biography



Nick Devoogdt, Professor, Free University Brussels (VUB)

Nick Devoogdt is trained as a molecular biologist at the Free University Brussels where he obtained his PhD in cancer genetics and immunology in 2004. After a postdoc at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, USA, he returned to Belgium for a series of postdoc positions in cancer biology, nanobody technology and nuclear medicine. In 2013 he became associate professor and full professor in 2016. In 2014 he co-founded the spin-off company Camel-IDS, where he currently also holds the position of CSO.
