Narayanappa Rajeswari, Associate Professor, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering

Dr Narayanappa Rajeswari is Associate Professor at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, India. She has 22 years of research experience and 14 years of teaching experience. Presently, she is engaged in genetics and epigenetics in cancer. She completed her PhD (1998) in Human Genetics from Osmania University, Hyderabad . Dr Rajeswari has received many awards and honours. She has 26 publications and 1 book to her credit and guided 3 PhD Students.

In this talk, recent progress in extraction and diagnostic techniques using FFPE tissue will be discussed. It will also cover novel technologies for rapid and simultaneous analysis of many FFPE patient samples which is crucial for treatment decisions. Finally, it will mention about how data from FFPE tissue based assays complements disease diagnosis and also allows designing of personalized therapeutic regimens.
