John Comer helped set up Sirius Analytical in 1990. The company is based in East Sussex, UK, where it provides analytical services and develops and manufactures instruments for measuring drug pKa, lipophilicity, solubility, supersaturation and dissolution. As Sirius’ CSO, John has played a key role in the company’s scientific developments, including the development of the GLpKa, D-PAS and SiriusT3 instruments. He has co-authored 37 publications in the field of PhysChem properties in pharmaceutical science, and was one of the founders of the PhysChem Forum in 2005. Most recently, John has focused on communications and teaching about PhysChem via invited lectures, webinars and publications.
