Simon Tickle's Biography

Simon Tickle, Principal Scientist, UCB Pharma

Simon’s background is in antibody discovery, producing antibodies for discovery research and for therapeutic uses. Simon has worked at UCB (legacy Celltech) since 1989, developing assays and methods for generating antibodies. At UCB Simon is now responsible for the automation of the antibody discovery process.
Simon did his first degree in Applied Biology at The University of Salford followed by a Masters degree in Biotechnology at The University of Central Lancashire. He is a member of the Society of Laboratory Automation and Screening.
