Emir Hodzic,

Dr. Emir Hodzic received his D.V.M., M.Sci, and Ph.D. from the University of Sarajevo, School of Veterinary Medicine in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His postdoctoral training was at the Yale University School of Medicine, where he studied animal models of Lyme disease and human granulocytic anaplasmosis. Dr. Hodzic is currently the Director of the Real-time PCR Research and Diagnostic Core Facility as well as a faculty at the Center for Comparative Medicine at the University of California Davis.
