Peter Lieberzeit's Biography



Peter Lieberzeit, Professor, University of Vienna

Peter Lieberzeit obtained his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Vienna in 1999. After defending his Habilitation thesis and becoming an Associate Professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Vienna in 2007, he holds a position of Full Professor since 2011. Since 2016, he is with the Department of Physical Chemistry. Currently, he has slightly above 100 publications listed in ISI Web of Science and around 150 conference publications. He is Honorary Adjunct Professor of Jiangsu University, Zhejiang, China and Instructor at the Graduate School at Kasetsart University, Bangkok. Besides successfully participating in several EU-funded research and education projects, he is also Member of the International Advisory board of “Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry”, Member of the International Steering Committee of IMCS conferences, and General Chair of the 17th International Meeting on Chemical Sensors (IMCS), July 2018. In 2011, he was awarded the Fritz-Feigl-Award of the Austrian Society for Analytical Chemistry.
