Suresh Anand Sadananthan received his PhD in medical image analysis from the School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University in 2009, where he developed algorithms based on graph theoretic framework for the segmentation of MR brain and abdomen images. His current research at the Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (SICS), A*STAR focusses on the investigation of the association between early developmental factors and MR body composition measures in children. His research interests include MR imaging and spectroscopy, medical image analysis, machine learning and understanding fat metabolism in adults and children.
