L.P. Tan, Associate Professor, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University

A/Prof Tan Lay Poh has been working on biopolymeric materials for the past decade. Her current research interests are in engineering cell microenvironment to modulate cellular behavior and translating these to scaffolds for tissue engineering applications. She has published extensively from fundamental studies to the applied tissue engineering aspects in reputable journals such as Biomaterials, Advanced Healthcare Materials, Small, NPG Asia among others.
