Kendall Van Keuren-Jensen, Professor and Deputy Director, Translational Genomics Research Institute

Dr. Van Keuren-Jensen is Professor in the Neurogenomics Division at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) as well as Deputy Director of the Institute. She is also Co-Leader, Center for Noninvasive Diagnostics. Her primary interests are in using biofluid based markers to diagnose and inform researchers and clinicians about central nervous system disorders and diseases.

We have investigated extracellular RNAs associated with Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, repeated head impact, and subarachnoid hemorrhage.  We will discuss similarities and differences among the types of RNA associated with brain injury and disease.
