Pavan Kumar's Biography

Pavan Kumar, Senior Scientist, Eisai Inc

Dr. Kumar did his Ph.D. at University of California-Davis, followed by
working at Somagenics Inc, a start-up biotech where he focused on
developing a small RNA detection platform (miR-ID) that is now under
testing with various academic/industrial collaborators. Since then, he is
part of the Biomarkers and Personalized Medicine unit at Eisai Inc., where
in addition to supporting genomics based biomarker research and development
for clinical programs, he continues to work on discovery and validation of
circulating miRNA signatures for both CNS and Oncology indications.
