John Palma's Biography

John Palma, Chief Medical Officer, Roche Sequencing Solutions

Dr. Palma is currently the CMO at Roche Sequencing Solutions. He manages clinical collaborations, advisory board meetings, KOL interactions, medical planning and publications. Prior to joining the Sequencing unit, John was Clinical and Medical Affairs Lead at Roche Molecular where he supported registrational and non-registrational studies for blood screening and companion diagnostic clinical development. At Johnson & Johnson, he managed the discovery and early development teams for the identification of diagnostic biomarkers in oncology and diabetes. John earned his Ph.D. from the State University of New York in Brooklyn with a focus in molecular biology. Over more than 20 years, he has published peer-reviewed manuscripts in diagnostics, drug target discovery and obtained patents in oncology, diabetes and molecular diagnostics.
