Thomas Antony's Biography

Thomas Antony, Research Director, Aurigene Discovery Technologies Limited

Dr.Thomas Antony received his Ph.D in Biophysical Chemistry from University of Delhi and was a postdoctoral fellow at Jawaharlal Nehru University - Delhi, The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Brunswick - USA, and Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Goettingen - Germany. He is the recipient of many research fellowships, including Max Planck Fellowship and Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship. Thomas has been working with Aurigene Discovery Technologies since 2002. He has more than 20 years of drug discovery research experience in the areas of oncology, inflammation, metabolic disorders, and anti-infectives. Thomas has co-authored more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a co-inventor of 3 international patents. At Aurigene, he leads the In Vitro Biology Division.
