Ken Gollob holds his bachelors in Molecular Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and his Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbiology from CU Health Sciences Center and National Jewish Center, Denver. His post-doctorate was at DNAX Research Institute with Dr. Robert Coffman in Palo Alto, CA. He held Visiting Professor positions at the CDC and Stanford University School of Medicine. Currently, he is a Research Professor at the Hospital Santa Casa, IEP in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and a PI with the Brazilian National Tropical Disease Institute (INCT-DT). He studies protective and pathogenic immune responses designed for the eventual development of novel therapies, diagnostics and biomarkers in leishmaniasis, Chagas disease and Dengue.
