Trygve Tollefsbol's Biography

Trygve Tollefsbol, Professor, University of Alabama at Birmingham

Dr. Tollefsbol is Professor of Biology and Senior Scientist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He trained with National Academy of Science members at Duke University and the University of North Carolina. Dr. Tollefsbol has published over 100 scientific papers which have been noted in the Faculty of 1000, journal homepages, television interviews, and Science News. Dr. Tollefsbol is a contributing Editor of Lewin’s GENES X classic textbook and is an Associate Editor of Frontiers in Epigenomics. He has published eight books on epigenetics. His recent book on Epigenetics of Aging was highlighted in Nature.
