Malcolm Brock,

Dr. Brock is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Oncology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology at Princeton University with a minor in Japanese studies, a Master Degree in Oriental Studies as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, a medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and 9 years of surgical residency and fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has been a NIH-funded, active medical researcher and clinician since joining the faculty in 2000, and studies molecular markers to detect, prognose and treat lung and esophageal cancer earlier. He has given numerous presentations worldwide and has published over 80 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
