Jisong Zhang,

Dr. Jisong Zhang received his B.S. (2009) and PhD (2014) degree in Department of Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China. From 2015 to 2017, he moved to Department of Chemical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and worked as a postdoctoral associate. He is now working as an associate professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University. Dr. Zhang’s research interests focus on flow chemistry and gas-liquid-solid reactions in micro-packed bed reactors, especially on 1) hydrogenation and oxidation in micropacked bed reactor; 3) continuous production of pharmaceuticals; 4) online analysis with micro-equipment. He has published 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals and issued for 20 Chinese patents. He has obtained several fundings from government and industrial company. He was selected as the “the 2019 Class of Influential Researchers” of I&ECR and “Emerging investigator” of Journal of flow chemistry.
